During the summer of 2022, Leathermarket CBS proudly marked the completion of its second community-led development, Joyce Newman House and Joseph Lancaster Terrace. This remarkable achievement saw the creation of 40 social rent homes through an innovative partnership between the CBS, Southwark Council, the JMB, Lawson TRA and local residents.
Situated on the grounds of a previously unused nursery, this development provides two distinct structures: a modern block housing 34 apartments and an adjoining terrace featuring six houses thoughtfully designed around a new communal garden, designed by local residents.
