Consultation meeting: Plans for the Joseph Lancaster Nursery site – Weds 26 Nov, 6pm

Residents will get to see initial designs for new housing on the Joseph Lancaster Nursery site at a consultation meeting at 6pm on Wednesday 26 Nov at the Roundhouse Hall, Cardinal Bourne Street  SE1 4EJ

Deverell St Proposals Nov 14

At the last consultation meeting Lawson residents agreed the Design Brief for the Architects.

Hari Phillips, the architect, has now prepared initial design options for the site which he will be talking through and explaining at the meeting.

 A packed meeting of Lawson TRA on 2 April discussed what residents wanted from new council-rent homes on the Joseph Lancaster nursery site

Roundhouse consultation meeting 2 Apr 2014

Residents came together in groups with staff from Leathermarket Community Benefit Society to come up with a brief for architects setting out how the new buildings would look and feel, how they would interact with the existing Lawson Estate and how they would meet the housing needs of Leathermarket people
